Our church is hosting an event on August 23rd for Officer Daniel Rush. Daniel is the officer who bravely brought down a man who was intending to enter the Forsyth County Courthouse, armed, and take hostages. Officer Rush was shot during the encounter but is expected to make a full recovery.
This benefit is being held to raise money to help pay for Officer Rush’s medical bills. Hot Dog and BBQ plates will be sold for $5 from 4-6 pm. There will also be a Silent Auction to which all proceeds will go to Officer Rush. You are also invited to stay after the meal for Musical Entertainment in the Sanctuary.
